Family Portraiture - Cedar Island, NC

I have done several shoots lately down at Cedar Island Beach and it is the most beautiful place. This family was so cute. I was able to catch some great moments between the two boys. They were really well behaved and so sweet. Their sister is gorgeous and her baby is as cute as they come. All of them were a joy to be around.

I tried a few different looks in the editing of these. I'm not sure what look I like best, but it was fun to play :)

Enjoy the preview. Aly

Sunset - Cedar Island Beach

Family Portraiture - Atlantic Beach, NC

This is the second time I have worked with the wonderful family. These beautiful little girls were so fun. Having only little boys, it's fun to photograph little girls in their pink dresses and hair bows! It was a beautiful evening on the beach and we had a great time. Enjoy the preview.

Senior Portraiture - Morehead City, NC

I've decided to start titling each post with the type of session and the location of the shoot. I'm running out of catchy titles! I'm still going to day a little about each session.

This senior girl came from Pitt County for a 8:00 am shoot! We had a great time traveling all around Morehead and Atlantic Beach. She is a super-athlete! She plays softball and volleyball, but she also dances. I could tell she is a well-rounded girl. She and I had some matching scars from softball wounds. As we talked about how busy she is, I remembered my high school days and running from one practice to the next while trying to balance academics, seminary, softball, band, drama, chorus, student council, etc, etc. It exhausted me just thinking about it! I am amazed by high school kids these days and how they keep it all together! I could tell her mom was proud, as she should be! Enjoy the preview.

Shy, But So Cute

Look how cute this little one's outfit is! I just loved the little ladybugs. She was so cute and a little camera shy, but so much fun. I try to imagine what it would be like to be so small and to have a stranger follow me around for an hour saying my name over and over again and pointing a big black thing at me! Doesn't sound so fun to me, so I can see why it is a little intimidating. Especially for the really little ones. Enjoy the preview!

Best Friends on Front Street

I am really loving photographing seniors lately. These girls were so much fun and we went all over Front Street in Beaufort to find good spots. It was sooo hot, but lots of fun. They are beautiful girls and they were so fun to spend a couple of hours with on a Friday evening! Enjoy the preview.

Just One, But So Much Fun

It seems that lately I have been photographing so many large groups and I haven't had many one on one sessions. It was so nice to photograph this little guy and not have to worry about anything but him! We had a great time and he was a joy to photograph. Enjoy the preview!
