Gone, But Not For Good...

Hello Everyone,

Let me start by wishing all of you a happy new year.  I hope all of you had a great holiday season with your family and friends.  It seems like this time of year flies by much too quickly.  I always find myself wondering where the time has gone.

For the next couple of months, I will be rebuilding my website and blog.  I am doing it all myself, so we'll see how things go!  If you try to visit my website and nothing is there, don't give up on me!  I'll be back up and running as soon as possible with a new and improved alydart.com!  The new website will have a completely new look and design along with new prices, packages, and products.  I'm really looking forward to all of you seeing the makeover!

The new website will have several new features to make things easier for you and for me.  Password protected galleries with a shopping cart to make you purchases online, as well as an interactive calendar are just a few of the new features.

Thank you all for following my blog and website.  I appreciate your business and your support.

Sincerely,

Aly

Best Friend Portraiture - Beaufort, NC

These are two of my favorite kids in the whole world.  Their mommy and I have been the best of friends for a long, long time and we happen to share a birthday, too.  Not just the date on the calendar, but the actual birth "day."  Our mothers labored together, but her mom was a little faster than mine!  I was born a few minutes later and who knew we'd end up to be life long friends.  There's not too many people that you just click with on this earth, and she's one of those for me.  It's strange that as you get older, you don't spend nearly as much time with your friends because of the demands of family and life in general, but somehow, good friends just get better and better.  Love you, Al.  I'm thankful that I have you in my life.  Enjoy the preview of your two angels.  Aly

Child Portraiture - Straits, NC

This is the third time I've photographed this little guy, and I always love the images I get of him.  This old barn and corral belong to a nice family in Straits and they've been so kind to let me go down there several times in the past couple of weeks.  I absolutely love it.  Enjoy the preview!

Family Portraiture - Atlantic Beach, NC

This little guy is among the cutest, sweetest, most fun kids I've ever photographed.  I loved every second with him!  He had the most contagious and sweet smiles I've ever seen.  I loved his hats, too.  He obviously loves pirates, and had a great pirate ARRRRGHHH!  It was obvious that he is the joy of his parents lives and he adores them right back!  Enjoy the preview.

Family Portraiture - Atlantic Beach, NC

The fort has been the place of choice this fall for family shoots.  I love shooting there because there is such beautiful architecture and I love brick!  There is always great light there, as well.  These kids were so cute together.  There is quite an age difference between the two of them, but they were still as close as any two siblings could be.  Enjoy the preview!

Family Portraiture - Atlantic Beach, NC

This was such a lovely extended family. They were all so sweet and fun to be around and we had a great time. Several of them had traveled long distances to be there for the shoot, so I was so glad we had good weather. I first met two of the little ones when photographing a preschool last spring and I was so happy to see them again. They were two of my favorites ;) Enjoy the preview.
